Chocolate, Bliss, and Cannabis

Valentine’s Day is almost here. Some call it the feast of Saint Valentine some call it sync Valentine’s Day no matter what you call it; it’ll be here on February 14th. On this day it has become a tradition to celebrate love and affection. Celebrated by many people around the world this February 14th is sure to leave a lot of folks pondering the same question. That question, of course, is what to get that special someone in their lives. This year Valentine’s Day conveniently falls on Wednesday AKA hump day. If you’d like to assure adding a little hump to your hump day then perhaps you may want to try a combination of chocolate and cannabis. Diamonds work too, just saying. Add diamonds to the mix of chocolate and cannabis and let’s just say you’ll have an amazing Valentine’s Day. We know I diamonds light up that special someone’s life but what does it for chocolate and cannabis? The answer to that is in this thing called bliss. To be a little more specific anandamide, the bliss molecule. Chocolate and coffee both possessive a chemical referred to as an anandamide. Anandamide is a neurotransmitter responsible for playing a vital role in regulating your appetite the feelings of reward, and the feelings associated with pleasure. Anandamide binds to the body’s THC receptors or cannabinoid receptors. Perhaps this is why cannabis-infused chocolate are so loved by so many. The chocolate doesn’t even have to be cannabis-infused. Just consuming cannabis and eating good chocolate is enough to trigger feelings of bliss. For many people in the United States of America, the joy of cannabis and chocolate is one that has never been enjoyed or at least never been enjoyed legally. Imagine if you will for a moment combining artisanal chocolate with craft cannabis to create sweet treats for that sweet someone. If you’re lucky enough to live in one of the handfuls of states in America that offer legal access to medical or recreational Cannabis than you might consider giving the sweet trade of cannabis and chocolate this year to that special someone you love.

It’s Not A Given When Its Given

While giving cannabis-infused chocolates or just cannabis and chocolate to that special someone isn’t guaranteed to put that extra hump in your hump day this Valentine’s Day you can rest assured that it will help the trigger a little extra Bliss. Don’t sit there going to status because you didn’t spark enough Bliss this Valentine’s Day. Here are some great ideas for cannabis strains to help make sure you don’t miss infusing your Valentine’s Day with a little bliss. For the cannabis strains that are most desired as love potions for Valentine’s Day, I turned to the internet and was impressed with the list compiled by Leafly. Some of the strains on their list are Chocolope, Love Potion #1, and Chemdawg. It seems that hybrids and indicas are the winners when it comes to perpetuating bliss on this list. When it comes to some chocolates, you don’t have to break the bank to get some things. Get what you can afford as long as you have some herb to go with it. Ghirardelli, Lindt Lindor, Whitman’s, and Godiva are some of my personal favorites when I’m looking to kick it a nickel on my chocolate expenses. They may cost a little bit more, but those dollars sure makes sense when you get to experience a little chocolate bliss. Blaze on some amazing herb and watch that chocolate become even more blissful. Remember Valentine’s Day isn’t about how much money you spend. If it is you might be with the wrong person. The day should be about the thought put into the person you love the most. When it comes to exchanging casual gifts with friends on Valentine’s Day just slip a joint in that card and watch the love you get in return.
