CBD Shouldn’t be Illegal- It Won’t Even Get You High

CBD is proving to be an effective and powerful tool in helping to treat the symptoms of seizures from a multitude of different conditions. The science behind the reasoning is becoming available to the public. In every living mammal on the planet Earth you will find an endocannabinoid system. Within this unique system found in every mammal there are CB-1 and CB-2 receptors.

Through the intake of cannabinoids such as CBD these receptors begin to interact with the body creating efficient two-way communication between cells and nerves. This is greatly helping to reduce inflammation and is the reason why CBD is effective at many things including but not limited to helping the regeneration of bones, the reduction of inflammation, relieving pain and discomfort in arthritis patients as well as acting as an anticonvulsant to help control seizures.

CBD has made the headlines in mainstream media over the recent years with many stories of how it’s helping those suffering with conditions such as Dravet Syndrome Epilepsy. Just like people suffer with conditions like Epilepsy and arthritis, so do our pets. CBD is not biased to either. It works for both people and their pets. Today unlike times in the past CBD options are available for you like what you’ll find at Imbue Botanicals and Swiss Xtracts. Currently through education on CBD as a community we’re hoping to end the federal government’s current classification of CBD as a schedule 1 drug putting it in the same category as Heroin or LSD.

CBD works in many different ways and is available in the multitude of forms. There’s CBD Isolate products which are specifically the CBD compound itself and there’s also Full Spectrum CBD which contains minor amounts of other cannabinoids creating a rich and balanced cannabinoid profile attributing to the healing powers of the Entourage Effect. The fact that the United States federal government has a patent filed on cannabinoids and has for some time should let you know that there is truth to what you’re hearing about all the incredible healing attributes CBD has to offer.

If you’d like to find out more information about CBD and how the United States federal government classifies it, be sure to check out US patent number US6630507 titled “Cannabinoids as Antioxidants and Neuroprotectants” as well as the Controlled Substances Act. Then ask yourself why this is considered a schedule 1 drug and be sure to ask your local political leaders as well.
