The Side Effects of Cannabis
Cannabis has side effects despite what cannabis advocates would like you to believe. Some of the most severe include a higher quality of life, an open mind, and love for humanity. If you ask me, those are some pretty severe side effects. I truly believe that consumers should know that if they start to consume this natural plant, that they may encounter these aspects in their day to day life. It is essential for both patients and recreational consumers to understand the risks they are taking each time they decide to partake in a toke or to utilize cannabis for medicinal purposes.
Let’s take a closer look at these three common side effects of cannabis closer.
A Higher Quality of Life
Caution, if you choose to consume cannabis, you are likely to reach a higher quality of life. By “higher” I don’t mean an intoxicated state but rather a state of better health and wellness. This is true physically, mentally, and spiritually for most. Many cannabis consumers and patients have reported finding relief from ailments such as anxiety, depression, chronic pain, inflammation, Cancer, IBS, Crohn’s, Epilepsy, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, Cerebral Palsy, and many others. I have even heard remarkable stories about how cannabis has cured people of Cancer, eliminated their seizures, and granted them with a second chance at life. This is a side effect that consumers should be aware of.
Another common side effect that many people endure after partaking in cannabis on a regular basis is an open mind. Cannabis tends to open the mind allowing people to better understand the world around them including other religions, other cultures, different sexualities, and much more. This open-mindedness can even cause more severe side effects like encouraging others to follow their dreams even if they don’t agree with them. It has also been known to cause people to start advocating for issues that could better the world for future generations.
Love for Humanity
Last but not least. One of the most severe side effects of cannabis consumption that EVERYONE should know about is love for humanity. It seems that cannabis allowing people to have an open mind and a better quality of life makes them appreciate everyone in their lives and around them in the world each day. So much in fact that cannabis consumers often find themselves encouraging others, organizing fundraisers to help bring about positive change, and giving freely to those in need without second question.
These are just a few examples. Cannabis seems to also have the effect of causing people to be more accepting of others. There are countless friendships between people of different nationalities, religions, and cultures that would never have taken place if the two parties had not been brought together by a miraculous plant known as cannabis.
